Home Birth Midwifery Service (HBMS) provides comprehensive, individualized and sensitive "WomanCare" for the women of metro-Richmond and surrounding areas, including northern North Carolina. We are pleased to serve home birth families for up to a two-hour driving radius of Richmond, VA. We limit our calendar of clients to < 6 due dates/month. This enables us to provide the continuity of care that home birth clients want and is the Hallmark of the Midwives Model of Care.
The HBMS Midwifery Staff include: Kim Mosny, CPM, Senior Midwife Apprenticeship Position - OPEN
(Contact Kim regarding this and other training opportunities) Kim is certified (CPM) by NARM: The North American Registry of Midwives and
is currently applying for licensure in VA. AHA CPR Health Care Provider certified &
AHA NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation) certified.

Relocation to the Richmond area will
commence in September 2008, with a site
visit in late July & early August.
