I am a former Labor/Delivery Room RN ~ worked in a hospital setting for 6 years and then began a homebirth midwifery practice in 1977. Over the past 30+ years, I have assisted approximately 2000 families have their babies in the comfort and safety of their own home.
Through the years, I have been involved with numerous birth/midwifery organizations including the Colorado Midwives Association, the Idaho Midwifery Council, Midwives Alliance of North America, ICEA, Christian Midwives International and am certified through the North American Registery of Midwives as a CPM (Certified Professional Midwife). Birthing classes and in depth nutritional instruction and counseling is part of the care I offer families.
